Philanthropy is a big part of the vision and mission of the Crazy Quilters. Every year we donate quilts to a variety of organizations. Thus far in 2024, our ever-busy crew has quilted 109 Quilts! 84 have been donated, 11 are being saved for Bonanza and the remaining 14 will be donated to one of our other centers such as: Memorial Care Infusion Center for Chemo patients, Orangewood Family Center, Orangewood Foundation, Veterans, OC Rescue Mission, Laguna Woods Fire Station and the Florence Sylvester Senior Center.

At the March General Meeting many members took advantage of the free quilt kits that have been donated to Crazy Quilters. I’m very excited to make a quilt that will be donated or used to make money for our guild during Bonanza. If you are interested in getting a free kit, contact Linda Dunnigan at (202) 744-2389.
