Philanthropy is a big part of the vision and mission of the Crazy Quilters. Every year we donate quilts to a variety of organizations including Memorial Care Infusion Center for Chemo patients, Orangewood Family Center, Orangewood Foundation, Veterans, OC Rescue Mission, Laguna Woods Fire Station and the Florence Sylvester Senior Center.

So far this year, we have donated over 300 quilts!  In December we will be delivering 200 placemats to Casa OC as well as placemats to the Florence Sylvester Senior Center for Meals on Wheels. Thanks to Betty Khzouz, Christine Cencak, David Cavanaugh, Gail Licata and Sharon Christensen for your help with delivering the quilts. 

And speaking of delivering the quilts, we are ALWAYS looking for VOLUNTEERS to deliver finished quilts and projects to various organizations.  If you haven’t volunteered this year, this is a quick way to do your part in making this guild the best it can be, without making a huge commitment.  Please contact Ruth Naomi Buck if you can help out.
